February 26, 2024

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM (EST)

Past

With rapid technological innovation and deployment, state departments of transportation (DOTs) and other transportation planning agencies need a clear framework to find opportunities to enhance agency performance. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that examined the changing landscape along with new and potentially disruptive technologies in the transportation sector and evaluate their potential impacts on the performance of DOTs. Presenters shared steps to adopt new technologies and make necessary changes in processes and organization to adapt to these technologies.

This webinar was based on NCHRP Research Report 1075: Becoming a Tech-Savvy DOT of Tomorrow.

This webinar was sponsored by TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program and the Standing Technical Committees on Transportation Planning Policy and Processes and Transportation Planning Analysis and Application.
