Description
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will conduct an independent peer review of the Biodiversity and Climate Change Assessment draft chapters. For this purpose, the National Academies will recruit an ad hoc committee of subject-matter experts. The committee will assess whether the draft chapters adequately and transparently assess the relevant scientific literature and evidence, address the most pressing issues of biodiversity and climate change, and communicate key findings in policy-relevant language accessible to a broad audience.
