Review of the Long-Term Bridge Performance Program: Evaluation and Monitoring

Completed

Description

The Expert Task Group (ETG) for Evaluation and Monitoring is a subcommittee that is separately constituted for the purpose of providing input to the parent committee reviewing the Long-Term Bridge Performance (LTBP) Program of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The LTBP Program is a 20+-year research effort to monitor the performance of a nationally representative sample of highway bridges. This expert task group (ETG) will provide peer review of those aspects of the planning and implementation of this strategy that pertain to the monitoring of the deflections, vibration, cracking, corrosion, and other performance measures that influence the structural adequacy of highway bridges.
